No, it wouldn't be possible. The bug is trivial to reproduce; i don't
see a work to do your work for you. Also, i'm not even using Ubuntu any
more because so many packages were broken.

Considering how long ago it was reported, would it be possible for you
to determine if the bug still exists in the latest version of Ubuntu?
