I can confirm this issue on T105, with 8 GB of RAM, system works fine on
32 Bit, but will not mount SATA DVD drive to perform install, goes
through Keyboard detection then fails saying CDROM is not mounted.
>From /proc/scsi/scsi my drive is reported as:-
Host: scsi3 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00

Same here Dell T105 with 64bit Ubuntu server, CDRom will not mount for
install. When I used my USB CDRom I could install, however the internal
CDRom still fails after install.
