Thanks @jbicha. GNOME snapshot works but I have to manually run
`systemctl --user restart pipewire` after every login for Firefox and
GNOME snapshot to see the camera. I need to chase that down.

Could you check if the GNOME Snapshot app works, in addition to Cheese?
If you choose the "Extended selection" when installing Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
or later, you get the GNOME Snapshot app installed. Cheese was installed
by default in earlier Ubuntu releases instead.
