Hi Angelo, by trying an older kernel I was hoping that we might
establish a point in time when things worked for you. It seems that
didn't pan out by going back to 5.17.
If we can establish a point in time in terms of the kernel version when
things worked, then we can begin a kernel bisect to try

when booting. The first time booting, the desktop resolution was
restricted to 720x400.

When booting this kernel for some reason it cannot find the root device
by UUID.
When installing the above, I had to use --force-depends on linux-headers

Looking back, is there a point in time when you did not experience the
system halts? Is it possible to identify a kernel version where this
didn't happen? I'm hoping to establish a starting point for debugging
when the behavior was introduced.
