@Gray : I think it was in a discussion at the Github repos, someone said
the guilty one was the pager. As a temporary turn-around I removed the
pager, from there the panel behaved right.
However we are still waiting and will be thankful to the packagers **to
bump** the LXpanel package to **next ve
as for github, the package is marked as fixed on 22 Dec 2024. but in
ubuntu/lubuntu it is still broken

similarly, with some clarifications. The location is bottom or top.
If the location is top, then it is shifted lower - by a distance equal to the
height of the panel from the top edge of the screen. If I choose dynamic width,
then the panel is displayed almost completely, with the exception of th
@mercuryx I don't know how someone will soon do that, the bug has been
confirmed but has not even yet been assigned to anyone, or even tagged
with a degree of importance.
I have seen a similar bug reported : for the Ubuntu 16.04 version! It is
as if bugs reports could continue living here even aft
I hope too someone will build a new version soon after the recent
updates in the code. LXDE developers seem to update their project so I
hope new packages will be updated soon.

Sorry I can not help in compile it, I just checked the developer's git
repository and it looked like it had new commits and the problem is
fixed. Unfortunately I cannot help in building it...
