I can not make it work on snap Chromium (133.0.6943.53). It worked fine on Firefox snap and, after that, I tried what nteodosio had said on first comment, but that didn't work for me. And I must say that with libnss3-tools and the modutil command I finally managed to make it work on Chrome .de

The module is there in the newest Chromium stable 131. Chromium does not have the graphical interface for that, it seems the way to configure that is with NSS3 tools. So, not tested: snap connect chromium:pcscd apt install libnss3-tools modutil -dbdir sql:.pki/nssdb/ -add "OpenSC" -libfile
