I can confirm this bug in Ubuntu Jaunty. IMHO, the priority of this bug
should be high, because it may potentially lead to data loss.

Eeek. Looks like since Nautilus took over mounting that these
notifications are gone (these used to be handled by gnome-volume-
manager). This will need some discussion on the best way to bring this
back...
