I am experiencing this bug as well. This is font related, see bugs: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/pango/-/issues/825 https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/pango/-/merge_requests/777 This issue was fixed in libpango upstream, recommend merging the patch or moving to a slightly newer libpango version. *
