We seem to have at least three bugs covering such connection regressions
in 24.10 (and 24.04 I agree from personal experience). Let's make this a
duplicate of bug 2081384 so everyone is on the same page.

I started getting this problem in the last couple of days, and I did
_not_ upgrade Ubuntu to 24.10, I am still on Ubuntu 24.04. Was there
some update backported to 24.04 that also broke it for 24.04?...
This seems to affect bluetooth headset and speaker devices. Bluetooth
mouse continues to work
I am also experiencing this issue with Bang & Olufsen H9i. It worked
flawlessly in all Ubuntu versions before 24.10.
