I can verify in mutter 46.2-1ubuntu0.24.04.6, that when dragging a
window the damage is constrained to the window itself plus the shadow
around the window.

mutter is comprised of multiple packages, which you should install all
at the same time. You can either specify all the packages and their
version in the same apt command, or a simple way that should get it
working is: `sudo apt install -t noble-proposed libmutter-14-0`
Hi Chris / Alessandro,
I'm possibly doing something wrong, but I was trying to upgrade to
mutter 46.2-1ubuntu0.24.04.6 from -proposed to help with this bug
verification, and this is what I noticed.
I have the following packages installed:
fa...@fabiomirmar.net@noble-desktop:~$ sudo dpkg -l | gre
Hello Mitchell, or anyone else affected,
Accepted mutter into noble-proposed. The package will build now and be
available at
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutter/46.2-1ubuntu0.24.04.6 in a
few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
Please help us by testing this new package. See
