The build failure of nvidia-dkms-470 470.256.02-0ubuntu0.24.04.1 in Ubuntu 24.10 oracular is because of GCC 14, not the kernel. I didn't know EOL was coming this soon, but it's still useful to fix 470 support as we have now. Because it allows us to default to Wayland for all (reasonable/expected) driver versions in the gdm3 udev rules. And it allows you to use MUTTER_DEBUG_FORCE_EGL_STREAM=1 as a fallback even on newer driv
