[Impact]
The openafs module cannot be installed on the ARM platform, resulting in the
following error:
- insmod /lib/modules/6.5.0-1025-gcp/updates/dkms/openafs.ko
+ insmod /lib/mod
I see this was first reported using cloud kernels. Could we please amend the
test case with the following:
- amd64 and arm64 kernels
- cloud and normal GA kernel
Just to make sure that, besides fixing the problem on arm64, we are not
regressing it on amd64 and for the normal kernel.

Hi Chengen,
Thanks for the clarifications!
For Jammy, I guess it might be a kernel config difference between
gcp/azure, perhaps (as we both tested 6.5.0-1025-flavor).

Hi Mauricio,
If I understand correctly, the issue is dependent on the GCC version.
I tested it before submitting the patches.
On Focal, the issue cannot be reproduced because the GCC version is outdated.

Thanks Chengen and Dan!
Chengen, please confirm whether this is tested and required for Focal
and Jammy.
I could not reproduce the issue on Azure arm64 VMs; maybe it's kernel
version related?
I see comments in the internal ticket that Noble/6.8 kernel can
reproduce it for sure.
