Hi,
I've updated the package from -proposed and it still not solving the issue. The
mouse cursor is still oversized. I found that this issue is not a problem in
Xorg but only in Wayland.

I don't see any merge requests or commits referenced upstream. Only that
it was closed via a revert somewhere, around two weeks ago.
What makes you say it's fixed in 4.15.5?
