I was having this problem under Mint 21.3 with kernel version 5.15.0-118
and so reverted to kernel version 5.15.0-117. I just upgraded to
5.15.0-121 and the problem is gone. I can once again suspend my
Thinkpad T480s successfully. Thanks much for the fix.

I too have been having this problem and even while I was diagnosing the
cause today, I received a kernel update to Linux version
5.15.0-119-generic on Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS, but the problem still
remained.
I can see Phillip Cox has posted bug will be fixed in a newer kernel,
but before being aware o
The fix has been commit to the jammy kernel. It should be available in
Ubuntu version Ubuntu-5.15.0-121.131, or later.

I have the same problem here.
Using cli command suspend or the keyboard key to suspend.
Also using autifs to mount folder from server that is not always running
without a problem until the last kernel update.
In my case, unmounting shared folder on the client before putting the client in

Found out why it works in the latest stable/5.15.y kernel, and
identified the cherry-pick required.
Commit 3feac2b5529335dff4f91d3e97b006a7096d63ec in stable/5.15.y is
required to be cherry-picked to the 5.15 jammy kernel to fix this.
I will work on getting this in to the jammy 5.15 kernel.

Can’t add the logs now (and would prefer not to as that utility collects
far too much data for me to review manually). But the way I was
suspending was systemctl suspend. Glad you could reproduce.

Also, can you please provide some more information about how you are
suspending your system. Are you doing it via the command line (and if
so, which command and options), or via the GUI? Thank you.

The previous info I've asked for would still be useful, but I have
reproduce this myself now.
I have verified that the suspend works on Ubuntu-5.15.0-117.127 and
fails on Ubuntu-5.15.0-118.128.
I used the command:
sudo rtcwake -s 30 -m mem
I am looking in to this.
