Hey Christian. Sorry for the lack of reply there, we don't really have
anyone in Ubuntu working on fonts nowadays.
The font refresh was lead by Canonical Design and I don't think they are
watching launchpad but they have https://github.com/canonical/Ubuntu-

Hi, a month passed since the last update.
I wanted to ask if there has been any insight into why it happened and
how it will be fixed - or if and why this might become a Won't Fix?
I'm personally OK either way but would appreciate an update what we should
expect on this case :-)
