I have the same issue on hardy amd64, and ALSA is set as my output in
gstreamer-properties. Testing ALSA in that window gives me audio out,
but video in flash stops after 3 or 4 seconds and I have no audio
output. If there is a more concrete workaround involving gstreamer-
properties, would someone
closing this bug then, thanks for the feedback.

Once I had set ALSA as default output in gstreamer-properties,
everything is ok. I also followed instructions on how to enable Pulse
audio and set it but the default output has to be ALSA.
Maybe the bug can be closed.

I have the same problem. No sound. Youtube and other flash media seem to
work, but only play for a couple seconds then pause (but the pause
button on the player still says play).
