With Plucky Puffin, the problem seems to persist. Error message
attached. Ubuntu fails to create a crash report so I am not sure whether
xfce4-panel is the cause.

Same problem in my laptop with Xubuntu 24.
It happens at every XFCE session start.
It's a fresh installation of Xubuntu 24.04.1 LTS.
