It is happening very rarely now,
and no, I never noticed it happening soon after an update.
Pips complaint about video in youtube is not related to this bug

I am also experiencing a serious problem with Firefox disappearing, for
me, in Firefox 3.0.3. I think it's the same problem as is afflicting
everyone else. Allow me to clarify the nature of the problem.
When viewing a video in Youtube, either whilst I am watching the video,
or whilst the video is
I can restore, and it all seems to work fine,
except I lose any things being downloaded.
I guess I have also lost some things I ave been writing.

I can walk away from my computer,
and when I return, firefox has disappeared.
I'd love to stop it

I asked my wife to run Firefox from a terminal for a while, and when the
problem happened most recently we captured input. Here is what we seen in the
terminal window when it crashed. We think that it may be related to the fact
she doesn't have sound in Firefox at all but does have sound with ev

i get this same problem with youtube videos only in firefox 3 beta 4. i
think it is somehow related to flash elements
