Some programs fixed the slow loading by switching compression algorithms
to lzo. Much faster but a bit bigger images, maybe that would work here
as well?

In a fresh install of Ubuntu 24.04, the snap version of LibreOffice
Writer takes ~9-10 seconds until it is usable.
The PPA version (ppa:libreoffice/ppa) takes ~2-3 seconds.
This is with a i9-9880H with 64GiB of RAM.
