By the way, xev reports my side buttons as buttons 6 and 7 AND they indeed work as horizontal scrolling... Only that they obviously aren't meant for that behaviour. My mouse (MX310) doesn't even have 9 buttons. So I have no idea who got the codes wrong here. Maybe someone can clear it up. -- Mous
