My apologies, from your original description it wasn't clear that "CPU
does not meet the requirements of the kernel" was the exact error
message you were seeing. I have just a few extra questions:
1) If you boot with the 'quiet' and 'splash' options removed, does anything
else appea
First: The error described in the other bug is "CPU too old for this kernel" is
not the same as "CPU does not meet the requirements of the kernel".
Second: I allready know that the desktop or generic kernel will go further. It
still does not boot and hangs during initial HW init phase.
