I have the same problem, two users on the same machine of which at most 1 can run avant-window-navigator, else the other user, upon fast switching to that account gets the notification: Error: Screen isn't composited. Please run compiz (-fusion) or another compositing manager. Dell Inspiron 9100

Set as invalid as it seems to be a configuration issue or a driver issue, but not an Awn specific problem. Feel free to re-open if you have more information. ** Changed in: avant-window-navigator (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Invalid -- AWN - after fast user switching https://bugs.launch

FYI, I've been using Awn for about a year now on a multi-user machine (ATI 9250SE, xorg drivers), and fast user switching has not (in my memory) made Awn disappear. Of course, I'm not using Compiz (xfwm4 here), XGL (AIGLX here), or Ubuntu (Gentoo here) and the second account did not have compositi

I think this a driver issue, for ATI drivers that run on open source can this be reassigned to people that deal with driver issues? -- AWN - after fast user switching https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/201919 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscr

There isnt a error, it just simply doesnt load if fast user switch The version is 0.3.1, it didnt work in version 0.2.1 My guess of what is causing it, is that if you fast user switch it doesn't create a new 3d session, or clear out the exist one -- AWN - after fast user switching https://bugs.l

Does your compositor (ie Compiz) function with the new user? I've heard of problems with this which would explain the AWN problem. Also do you use XGL? I've also heard that there can only be one XGL session running at a time, which causes problems for the fast user switcher. -- AWN - after fast u
