The 2.22 new version from this week had a "Fix a crash in nautilus
properties page" mention, the corresponding bug being
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=519679, let's suppose that was
this one and close the bug since that's working now anyway

I guess a recent update must have solved this problem because I can't
recreate the error at all now.

In an attempt to recreate the bug I've discovered that it was caused by
right clicking on the pdf file and selecting properties in order to
rename it.
This was my first attempt at creating a backtrace so ignore my fumbling
at the start!
