Thanks Jason - I just did a nvidia-xconfig followed by nvidia-settings, and it
worked, using the latest 177 drivers on intrepid.
It turns out that when the nvidia drivers are installed, nvidia-xconfig is not
Found a work around that is good in Hardy and Intrepid. Grabbed the
EnvyNG package
and installed the latest drivers (173.14.12) or later. Then I ran as root
these two commands: 'nvidia-xconfig', and 'nvidia-settings'. In the
settings I setup twinview and then saved to the X Config File,
Restarte
I have been getting this in Intrepid (Kubuntu) since the latest batch of
updates.

I didn't have this problem upgrading from a alpha3 version.
But now i have installed alpha5 from the scratch and there it is.
I cannot save the twinview configuration to X-Configuration File.
Is there another way to configure twinview with NVIDIA cards in Hardy?
