kde4 crashes on splash screen

This bug is still a problem. What seems to happen is:
1. I log in as a KDE user I haven't used in a while, perhaps since some
upgrades have happened.
2. The splash screen freezes, sometimes at the second icon focusing, sometimes
after all the icons have focused.
3. Even though the splash scr

the bug was dued to the presence of the kde4rc file, but had others
effects, in the first packages of kde4.

kde4rc no exist on my system (kubuntu Gutsy Gibon)
same issue. but one another little error.
in my case, kbuilsycoca crash whit signal 11 (3 times). and obtaining
only "background image" (no desktop, no icons, no K menu, etc)

i got it alessandro.
the solution is very simple
log in your kde 3.5
open a konsole
kdesu dolphin
then go in /etc/
there delete the file kde4rc
log out
and then kde4 should start

here is what i have done :
i logged in console mode
then cd /usr/lib/kde4/bin
here a ls command to know what is in here
then i see startkde
so ./startkde
then i obtain
xsetroot: unable to open display ''
xset: unable to open display ""
xset: unable to open display ""
xsetro

I use the driver Intel. So, I think that is not a driver graphics issue

The post above was with the nvidia driver
What i did then, i changed the nvidia driver to the nv driver in kubuntu by
default
here is what i obtain from xsession.errors
Xsession: X session started for romaric at lundi 3 mars 2008, 21:09:48

startkde: Starting up...
startkde: kpersonal
I confirm this bug with kde4 from repository and kde4 from svn. I only get the
kde4 splash screen with services loading and icones flashing up to the last big
icone K and then nothing else.
Any ideas?
