Laptop monitor does not turn
Hi Daniel yes it is a recent install.
I reinstalled Jammy yesterday and ran the updates. It was working fine
yesterday and also this morning. before I installed the latest updates. I only
noticed that things were not working right when I came home and reconnected the
laptop to the external monit
I wonder if this new kernel is failing to detect or report the lid
closing...
It also seems you only installed Ubuntu 1-2 days ago. What version were
you using when it last worked?

Hi Daniel, sorry about that I just realised that i was running Wayland
not X.
In saying that though, I'm having the same issue under X as well.
