I tried with kernel 2.6.24-8-generic and kernel vanilla 2.6.24.3 but I have same problem. Driver i810 works with 2.6.24-8-generic, 2.6.24-10-generic and kernel vanilla. Direct rendering works with driver i810 I think it is not a problem of kernel -- xserver-xorg-video-intel (2:2.2.1-1ubuntu2) do
