Hi, I had removed the entries in my sources list as the 'apt update' was failing on every entry because "there is no release candidate". Presumably because support for that version had been removed. So, adding them back in won't fix the issue. Having said that I did successfully do the upgrade b

It looks like every entry in your /etc/apt/sources.list file (which includes groovy) is commented out. This could prevent the upgrade from calculating and the failure which you are seeing. Please enable items in your sources.list file and try the upgrade again. ** Changed in: ubuntu-release-upgrad
