Marking as incomplete until the following is tried:
Increase cache/buffer size in totem. I assume that goom is the only
visulization that this behavior happens. I assume that you have
sufficient RAM and swap. Does this occur after fresh bootup? Perhaps
RAM is full and swap is happening during
Marking as Confirmed. With a dual processor, the goom visualization and
the music playing should happen without glitches. I presume the skip ts
errors are time skip errors due to processing or I/O lag. With 2
processors, this should not happen.
I get skips every 6 seconds on a Dual Core Pentium
Of course, I have to actually remember to mark it as Confirmed.
