I have done per requested and even though key-mon is clearly showing on
TTY7 that byzanz doesn't seem to be that cooperative:
```
sudo apt-get install byzanz
130 ↵

Building dependency tre
PS: Am having this problem on all of my 21.10 systems and the
reproduction steps are VERY e-a-s-y to do per my previous post. Thanks

Using caja v1.26.0, browse to ~/Documents, press to rename some
file, press and hold CTRL for CTRL+C aand: focus is gone.
That always worked since at least 14.04.
