FYI I did experience such hard reboots (very annoying, for sure!) with lwfinger
dkms driver, but never (never) since some time and especially since Ubuntu did
include rtw89 in 5.15 kernel.
Maybe I'm lucky, or that's solved.

For what it is worth, at some point, using

crashing, only symptom was me going away and coming back the laptop is
rebooted. It was happening after ~24-48h of uptime, regularly enough for
it to be painful.

Just enabled impish-proposed, applied upgrades, and 5.13.0-22 is there,
rtw89 working well. No more requirement for extra dkms out-of-tree,
that's quite cool.
