The OP is referring to the ubiquity-dm panel showing the ubuntu
indicators battery, keyboard and network.
The OP has separately confirmed that booting into the live session,
budgie panel is OK.
The issue has occurred between the 22nd Sept build where is was OK and
the 23rd Sept build where the ub
