Ubiquity is now unmaintained, and is replaced by either the Ubuntu
Desktop Installer or Calamares starting with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.
Therefore, this bug is being closed as 'Invalid'.
If you believe this was done in err
I attempted doing a similar install with Kinetic and Jammy, both crashed
in the very same way.
