I'm having a hard time with this being marked as a firefox bug
Please run firefox with the following command
firefox --safe-mode
Does thisw happen on firefox-3.0? if so please run
firefox-3.0 --safe-mode
Also this bug report is not confirmed yet since no one but reporter seems to be

How much ram? Try running in a terminal:
>firefox --debug
then note any errors after a crash.

I didn't notice swap ehxaustion, I'll be watching it next time.
Interesting thing is that it happens even 5 seconds after launching firefox, so
I don't know if the problem could be related to swap.
No particular website causes it on a regular basis.

Thanks for your testing and output. Triaged to Confirmed. Certainly
looks like a segmentation fault caused by flash plugin. Did you notice
if you were out of RAM at the time of crash and filling up swap space
(near your 1 GB limit)? I've had frequent crashes from the site
cocgospel.com using fl
After starting with --debug I was able to use it for almost a week without a
single crash until now.
The problem seems to be with the flash player extension, however this time it
just hanged - didn't just disappear as previous times.
I have like 512mb of ram and 1gb swap and I've been using fire
