OK, if a bug must be filed to a source package, and nobody who knows
this much better than me did it in the last two weeks, then I will now
signal my first guess: the windows manager, perhapes it handles the
erroneous behaviour of blanking, I do not know. Sorry, if I made a
wrong guess.

blanking: namely to record the windows in input focus, then blank, then
wait for a waking event, then switch the monitors on, and restore the
input focus to the window what was in focus just before blanking.
