I'm facing the same issue. I'm not using exactly Ubuntu but a Debian, which is the same core. The problem appeared after a distribution upgrade from Sarge to Etch. The Evolution suite is now version 2.6.3. At first launch of Evolution after the upgrade, it prompted a pop-up saying that the folders

I followed Pedro's advice as soon as I could. I have also tried to make my old Inbox available through other means. In brief, here's what I know now: - Hardy Heron's Evolution (live CD) launched nicely, inheriting all old mailboxes, but overwrote the old Inbox promptly, substituting the one- messa
