I can't comment on >8.04.
But can confirm problem in 8.04.
To reproduce:
1) install thuban - aptitude error as above.
2) run thuban from console - get
"/usr/lib/thuban/Thuban/UI/colordialog.py:25: DeprecationWarning: The wxPython
compatibility package is no longer automatically generated or activ
Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 or 9.04?
