Well, it would do exactly what I need if I can convince the XanMod
developers to adjust their naming scheme. I do not build the new kernels
myself (https://xanmod.org/#install_via_apturl).

FWIW, I never intended for this to be a public interface, it should
really be for internal use only , and might have to be replaced with a

I could apply the patch and have validated that it is not correct, as it
removes the leading - from the ABI, which means that it starts matching
meta packages.
If you build custom kernels and want to use this thing, you have to
follow the same version format.
