Indeed, was so long ago and got a so overwhelming feedback that I
already tried to figure it by myself.
And, as I'm also upstream for this plugin, even something was

Feature request: show match in missing attachment
Wow, this was long ago.
AFAIR, the plugin can be configured with regexes to look for. If
"attach.*" occurs, the warning is displayed.
I wanted to see the matches, similar to vim's ":set hls".
But as I do not use claws anymore, i dont care too much about this issue
...

Don't see clearly what you mean with "see the actual match", but at first sight
