Geary crashes when selecting a email provider

I've added that this issue only happens in Unity7 in the bug
description.

When opening Geary and trying to select any of the provided email prodivers,
it just crashes.
Running Geary from the terminal and doing the same thing shows this:

Ubuntu-desktop 20.04.1 all up to date to latest @ 16/10/2020 with kernel
5.4.0-51-generic
Installed Unity desktop from the repos, launched geary, on 'other accounts'
the program crashes with error: *[wrn] 15:28:18.0995
Gtk:gtk_window_set_titlebar() called on a realized window
this does not happe
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
