Desktop Effects not working in my fresh install of Hardy Alpha 4. It was

Have the same problem on Debian Testing.
If i install the NVIDIA-Linux-x86-71.86.04-pkg1.run version nvidia
driver, the Desktop Effects dont work in KDE 4.0.1 . But if i install
the version NVIDIA-Linux-x86-169.07-pkg1.run it works. But have some
problems in taskmanager with tran

I forgot to mention, the logs that I placed on the previous post, were
extracted from ~/.xsession-errors, that is where kde4 writes its logs.

I've found that when running xgl I get:

Sorry, I forgot to specify, what I meant for not working.
If I have Desktop Effects and xgl enabled, I can login, but the effects
are not visible, as if Desktop Effects were disabled. Even if I try
disabling and re-enabling the effects, no visual change is made, as if
it were doing nothing.
