I have had similar problems on the last two header updates. Rather than the incorrect partitions, however, all (correct) occurrences of (hd2,0) get replaced by (hd1,0). The Windows partition is not affected. My (correct) menu.lst is now: title Ubuntu 7.10, kernel 2.6.22-14-generic roo
