Frankly, I don't know what exactly bug 173837 which you think this one
is a dupe of is or isn't about. There seems to be a multitude of things
lumped together with a description vaguely resembling what I am talking
about here. bug 173837 was closed out yesterday by Sebastien with the
comment "gdm
Bryce, this is the third time you touch this bug and the third you make
a mistake which I needed to correct. Are you ever going to smarten up?
Please stay away from this bug, you don't seem to understand what it is

Bryce, I was referring to the ""Applications" menu, the one defined by
the entries in /usr/share/menu/. There is no entry to start xephyr in a
nested window via the menu, there is only "New Login". Reassigning back
to xorg-server.
