This seems to be a (permissions?) problem with thunar rather than an issue with
ristretto.
If clicking on 'Trash' in Thunar side pane or clicking Trash icon on desktop,
Thunar will use gvfs to browse trash.
If one navigates directly to the Trash directory (~/.local/share/Trash/files),
then ris
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
