I have seen this issue happen on older version of OpenOffice but can't
reproduce it on openoffice.org 1:2.4.0~rc2-1ubuntu3 so I am marking this
as Fix Released. If after upgrading you still see this issue then please
reopen the bug.

Further to my earlier email providing more info (which I hope you
received okay) I have discovered this same thing happens in OO Writer
with the automatic pop-up menu for Bullets and Numbering. May be
related. Hope this assists.

I can't reproduce this on openoffice 1:2.3.1-3ubuntu3. Which version of
Ubuntu and OpenOffice are you seeing this problem on?
