GeForce 2 is no longer supported by nvidia-glx, but that shouldn't be the issue, as the live CD does not contain the NVIDIA 3D drivers, only the "nv" driver that should have support for the GeForce 2. Did you try starting in the "safe graphics" mode? -- Install fails with NVidia GeForce2 Go http
