I have been using gnome-clocks 3.36.2-1~ubuntu20.04.1 for quite some
time now and all the functions work well, adding world clocks, alarm,
stopwatch and timer. Gnome shell shows the world clocks just fine after
adding them to gnome-clocks.
I confirm that the timer start button is now enabled after
Hello Amr, or anyone else affected,
Accepted gnome-clocks into focal-proposed. The package will build now
and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-
clocks/3.36.2-1~ubuntu20.04.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed
repository.
Please help us by testing this new package.
According to the Debian maintainer, the new build-dependencies are needed to
check the formatting of the files. That change was applied in 3.36.2 and
forward in Debian and Ubuntu, so it was a packaging oversight in 3.36.0.

I see new build dependencies appstream-util and desktop-file-
utils being added. But these haven't been mentioned in this
bug. What's the purpose of adding these, and how will they affect the
build?
