I have been using gnome-clocks 3.36.2-1~ubuntu20.04.1 for quite some time now and all the functions work well, adding world clocks, alarm, stopwatch and timer. Gnome shell shows the world clocks just fine after adding them to gnome-clocks. I confirm that the timer start button is now enabled after

According to the Debian maintainer, the new build-dependencies are needed to check the formatting of the files. That change was applied in 3.36.2 and forward in Debian and Ubuntu, so it was a packaging oversight in 3.36.0. https://salsa.debian.org/gnome-team/gnome-clocks/-/commit/d482d40f614d4204
