The bug has just reoccurred - I'm actually adding this comment whilst
the Take a break! screen is displayed. ;-)
It turns out that alt-tab works perfectly during the take a break mode,
so I can even switch between windows. Alt- triggers the menus as well,
so my work is pretty much unimpeded by t
