installed ubuntu 20.4 in virtualbox installed my printer with ubuntus driver and it is visible now inside gimpseems like fixed now. can i check if gimp is running with snapd? if i try to uninstall snapd gimp is not uninstalled...so i guess gimp is now native (no more a snap-package) -- You

Do you see any apparmor denials in dmesg? I was able to find this topic someone posted https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/569430/gimp-snap-wont-print- preview the logs there suggest that gimp is attempting to find out about printers on its own. Can you confirm you see similar logs in the ter
