It worked for me this morning with IntelliJ IDEA, Ubuntu 19.10, and the
following setup:
$ echo $XMODIFIERS
@im=ibus
$ java -version
openjdk version "11.0.5" 2019-10-15
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 11.0.5+10-b520.30)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 11.0.5+10-b520.30, mixed mode)
